Lessons

Lessons take place at my home in Valleiry, in a space entirely dedicated to music, around a grand piano.

An upright piano and a digital piano are also available to adapt the work to pedagogical needs.

Children's lessons (7 - 11 years)

I use a caring and structured method that combines:

  • musical awakening
  • music theory integrated directly into the pieces
  • piano practice

The goal is to help your child progress while cultivating the joy of playing. I regularly create games and playful materials to work on technique and reading without making learning feel like a chore.

I give your child:

  • solid foundations for learning piano
  • tools to become autonomous
  • the confidence to progress at their own pace

Every student is different. I adapt to the abilities, temperament and sensitivity of your child to provide individualized guidance.

Musical practice fosters concentration, develops artistic sensitivity and encourages perseverance. Children who practice music from a young age stimulate their memory, attention and coordination through the simultaneous activation of several cognitive functions.

I always take time to exchange with you to understand your expectations and gather your child's feelings, in order to adjust the guidance as best as possible.

Ages 12+ and adults — Beginners

There is no age to start piano. Whether you begin out of passion, personal challenge or to fulfill a childhood dream, learning can start at any time.

Music theory is integrated progressively alongside practice, so you understand what you play and gain autonomy from the first weeks.

To bring pieces to life and develop an emotionally rich interpretation, adapted technical work is essential: posture, hand independence, keyboard mastery and sound quality are integral parts of the learning process.

Each lesson is designed to combine high standards and pleasure:

  • I suggest a first piece adapted to your level.
  • You choose the second, based on your tastes.

I select or adapt accessible versions to allow you to approach the repertoire you desire, whether classical, modern or from contemporary music.

The goal: progress with method, while cultivating the joy of playing.

Ages 12+ and adults — Intermediate and advanced

For students with an existing piano foundation, the work focuses on technical deepening, musical maturity and interpretation quality.

We develop:

  • rhythmic precision and playing solidity
  • touch and dynamics mastery
  • hand independence
  • stylistic understanding (baroque, classical, romantic, modern)
  • musical analysis in service of interpretation

Technique (scales, arpeggios, targeted exercises) is integrated intelligently and always connected to the studied works, so it directly serves the repertoire.

Piece selection is based on:

  • your level
  • your goals (demanding hobby, competitions, auditions, exams)
  • your musical sensitivity

I guide you toward a more assertive, expressive and structured playing, working on musicality as much as posture and stage fright management.

The goal: go beyond simply executing notes to build a truly personal and mastered interpretation.
