Where do piano lessons take place?

Lessons take place exclusively at my home in Valleiry, in a space dedicated to music, to ensure quality work on a grand piano. Parking available on site.

What instrument do we work on?

I have a Yamaha G2 grand piano, the main instrument for lessons. During musical awakening sessions, students also discover the Pleyel upright piano and the Casio digital piano, to understand the differences between instruments.

Yes. Students wishing to go further can join the Piano Excellence Program, a structured program inspired by the conservatory. This program includes in-depth technical work, demanding repertoire study and, if desired, preparation for competitions, exams or auditions.

For beginners: a weekly lesson is recommended. For intermediate and advanced levels: a weekly or biweekly pace can be considered depending on goals.

I accept payments by card, bank transfer, cash and checks. Payment is made per term, upon registration.

Each term is paid in full upon registration. Term 1 has 13 weeks (excluding school holidays and public holidays), terms 2 and 3 have 11 weeks each.

What happens if the student is absent?

In case of a student's absence, the lesson generally cannot be rescheduled or deducted from the fees. However, in exceptional circumstances, a solution may be found where possible.

If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, it will of course be rescheduled where possible or deducted from the fees.

In case of lateness, the lesson unfortunately cannot be extended so as not to impact the next student's time. Please notify me as soon as possible.

Do I need to buy a piano?

It is possible to start on a digital piano (a more economical solution suited to apartments). It is also possible to rent a piano for a few months before investing.

Do I need to buy sheet music?

The first sheet music is offered as a welcome gift. The following ones will be at your expense depending on the chosen repertoire.

Can I attend my child's lesson?

This may be possible occasionally. However, I recommend letting the child be alone to foster their concentration and autonomy.
